          Welcome to the 5th Annual Book and Paper Show & Sale

About the Show

SATURDAY MAY 2, 2015 - 9AM TO 4PM AT 23 ELM STREET (EASON HALL), WESTFIELD, NEW YORK $5 ADMISSION, with a student rate of $3 (you all know how hard it is to get younger people interested) and children 12 and under accompanied by and adult, free. - Take the time to clip our advertisement for the show from any printed publication, and attach it to a card with the name of the publication, your name, address, email address and phone number and receive $1 off admission and get a chance in a drawing for a prize. (Information provided will only be used to communicate information about upcoming society shows).

The Book and Paper Show is a one day event that will feature 25 dealers of Antiquarian books, Photography, Fine art prints, Maps, Children's books, Local history, Sheet music, Ephemera, Postcards, First editions, Bindings, Historic documents, Magazines, Trade cards, Americana, Illustrated books, and the like, in the main display area.

There will be various other things of interest in the room up near the front entrance, such as representatives from the Chautauqua County Historical Society, the Chautauqua County Genealogical Society (selling their various publications), Local and Regional Railroad book author Ken Springirth with his multiple titles relating to Western Pennsylvania, New York, and Northeastern Ohio Railroad and Trolley Car book signing and sale, Susan Frakes book binder, and Patricia Pihl, Personal Historian / Writer.

Perhaps you might consider making a day of it. There are a couple of nice antique stores on Westfield's Main Street, some interesting places to eat, and of course the McClurg Museum, Home of the Society's Collection of Chautauqua County and Regional artifacts. Tours are $5 per person with children and members free. The museum is open from 10AM to 4PM Monday thru Saturday and just a short walk across the park from the show at Eason Hall.

Donations:
We are accepting donations of items appropriate for the show that will be sold at the Society's table, the proceed's of which go to the Society. If you have a thing or things you would like to donate please contact me (see contact info below) or bring it along and drop it off.

Advertising:
We do have pdf files of some of our advertising if any of you are in a position to print some up and distribute in your area. Just please let me know if you are willing to help us with this, and I will send something out to you.

Special Rates:
Admission is $5 with a student rate of $3 (you all know how hard it is to get younger people interested) and children 12 and under accompanied by and adult, free. We hope to provide group rates should there be any groups asking about it. Contact us for more information in general or about a group rate.

About the Facility
Eason Hall is a nice facility with good lighting, air conditioning, handicap access from Main Street side of building only, adequate parking, and in downtown Westfield, New York so you can avail yourself to all it has to offer.

Historical Information

About Westfield
Historic Westfield was first settled in 1802, making it the oldest community in Chautauqua County. Located in the heart of the Concord Grape Belt, Westfield is known as the Grape Juice Capital of the World. The Welch Co. was established here in the 1890s. McClurg Museum
An 1820 frontier mansion listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Home of the Chautauqua County Historical Society. Displays on three floors. Exhibit: The Lincoln Legacy: Chautauqua County Connections to the Great Emancipator. The mansion sits in the center of Moore Park and the McClurg Museum is open 10 am to 4 pm Tuesday thru Saturday.
